In my youth, as I gobbled up Nabisco chocolate chip cookies by the bagfull, dunked in milk intended for the young of another species, I never imagined that in my "enlightened" adulthood i would - a.) find a cookie so much more delicious and - b.) realize that even the selection of something as basic as a cookie can have an important impact on the world.
Uncle Eddie's VEGAN cookies are as delicious as any cookie in the world with any ingredients. I think the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip is the best cookie in the world. Not only do these cookies have taste; they have a social conscience that comes with being a VEGAN product, a VEGAN choice.
Typical cookies come with a high price. When milk, butter and eggs go into them, they come with a health threat to the children and adults who eat them. Animals suffering and enviromental destruction are in every bite. When you think of tortured caged chickens, horrified veal calves, and the squandered resources of the poultry and dairy industries. Even regular white sugar is filtered through cow bones. So why would anyone choose a regular cookie when Uncle Eddie'e taste much better and have the good taste to use organic ingredients, and NO animal ingredients. Enjoy these cookies.
